TRAINING, STANDARDS AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY

All our highly skilled rope technicians are trained and certified under the Internationally recognised IRATA qualification system. Many of them have trade qualifications in other areas as well, enabling us to provide a range of specialist services. We believe it is important that our technicians’ skills are continually updated.

All work is carried out in accordance with NSW Workcover Authority Guidelines for Rope Access and the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2001. We adhere to the Australian Standards for Industrial Rope Access AS/NZS 1891 (Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices) and AS/NZS 4488 (Industrial Rope Access Systems).

Our builders license is your assurance that all work is carried out under the supervision of qualified, competent tradesmen.

INSURANCE

Magellan Company is approved for Home Warranty Insurance by the Housing Industry of Australia. This is required by law when working on buildings under strata title and where the value of work being carried out is over $12,000. Magellan Company has all relevant Public Liability and Workers Compensation Insurances.
